great! At least it looks liek you're heading in the right direction Smile

Admittedly I probably won't purchase the PDF of that adventure as I have the hard copy (along with the ED CD with the entire 1st edition core book on it:) )

I find I get more use out of PDF versions of core rulebooks and supplements rather than scenarios (for obvious reasons).

Any more news on this?

I am thinking about GMing more Play by Post games as players aren't forthcomig in my area and PDFs are eminently more suitable for this type of gaming.

However without an ED2 pdf I have a choice to either use my ED 1st Ed HTML rulebook I got with Path of Deception or potentially buy Red Brick's Players and Gamesmaster's Compendiums. The idea of another version of the rules may irk me but their comprehensive PDFs are calling me Smile

Of course if I did switch from LRG to Red Brick for ED I woudl have to rework my Excel character creation tool Sad

Well, I have determined that I only ever read RPG books in PDF format on my pocket PC now as it is just always with me. I buy hardcopy purely for the game table.

In line with this I felt that if I was ever going to read my Earthdawn 1st Ed books I would need to buy them in PDF format. I tried out a sample of the 1st ed ED books Redbrick have posted on DriveThruRPG.com and they read okay.

So what does this mean?

I will over the next couple of years (as I read the books) be spending at least $311.50 on PDFs (the total price of all PDFs Redbrick have currently made available).

If I run a game I will probably use 1st Ed as most of my books support that edition and I will have electronic access to those books - and even Barsaive at War by LRG is 1st Ed (along with Path of Deception).

Once I have read all my 1st Ed books and I am allowing myself to buy new books I will likely buy Redbrick's stuff as they are also available as PDFs.

LRG for me have dropped the ball, and as such I am afraid I am taking my business elsewhere. I may purchase Way of Will if it ever comes out, just so that I can complete my trilogy - after that I hope LRG call it quits on ED.

Sorry guys!
